Privacy Policy
What is collected, what is not, and who else is involved.
Last updated: September 2026
1 What we collect
Snapchat Saver is built to be used without an account.
- • There is nothing to register for and no account to create.
- • We never ask for your Snapchat password or login details, and there is no password field anywhere on this site.
- • We keep no history of what you download linked to you.
- • The server keeps short-lived request logs containing IP address, browser type and a timestamp. These exist to stop abuse and automated traffic, and they are deleted regularly.
2 How that information is used
Because very little is collected, the uses are limited.
- • Handling your download request at the moment you make it.
- • Keeping the site fast and finding out what is broken.
- • Detecting and blocking spam, scraping and abuse.
3 Cookies and local storage
There are two separate things here and it is worth keeping them apart.
Our own storage. We use Local Storage in your browser for small preferences, such as remembering that you have already left a review so we do not ask twice. This never leaves your device and is not tied to any identifier.
Advertising cookies. This site is free because it shows adverts, and our advertising partner sets its own cookies and similar identifiers. These can measure performance and personalise the adverts you see, including on other websites. We do not control what is collected and we do not receive your personal data from them. Our current advertising partner is Monetag, and its own privacy policy governs that data.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time.
4 Links to other sites
This site links to places we do not run, including Snapchat itself and app stores. Once you follow one of those links you are on their site under their rules, so it is worth reading their own privacy policy.
